Pleated blinds are ideal for conservatories, particularly for the conservatory roof. They are very crisp and work a little like a roller.

Where they come into there own is the ability to run wires through the blind to support there weight when they are installed into a conservatory roof.

This stops them sagging and a spring tensions the blind to keep it taught. we also offer the Perfect Fit option or UPVC Blinds You would usually operate these blinds with a manual wand, or a crank handle. Obviously the luxurious option is to have your blinds motorised.

Many people with pleated blinds in the roof go for vertical on the sides. Not only does this give you more ability to control the heat and light coming in, but they also work out more economically. Our perfect fit blinds are also becoming more popular.

Pleated blinds can have special backings which reflect heat back out of the conservatory rather then let it come in. Anyone with a conservatory knows how hot they get in the summer, and are even unusable because they are so hot.
